The jaw-dropping Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between is the museum's first exhibition on a living designer since Yves Saint Laurent in 1983.
Blurring art with fashion, the sculptural exhibition defies the conventional notion of perceived beauty and fashionable body. Such a hybrid leaves conceptual interpretation open to the audience. We see an avant-garde inspiration of forms, colors, textures, layering and patterns, which contribute and translate to a story, and that story is how we define design. What do you see?
